Profile Description

Rajnesh Kumar is a Delhi-based artist and educator whose work explores the human figure as a vessel of inner conflict, existential doubt, and social complexity. Working primarily in realist modes, Rajnesh’s paintings combine technical precision with psychological depth, using portraiture and the body to probe contemporary anxieties and layered narratives. Since 2020 he has expanded his visual language through varied media while maintaining a strong focus on composition, light, and figure.

An active participant in the contemporary art community, Rajnesh has shown in group exhibitions and completed art residencies that have informed his teaching and studio practice. He mentors BFA and MFA students, drawing on his experience in both studio-making and art education to support emerging artists’ development.
